By Brian Gallagher For Dailymail. Seth Rogen has signed on to play the 'favorite uncle' of renowned director Steven Spielberg in a new film about his childhood. Rogen, 38, will join Michelle Williams in the cast, who is playing a character based on Spielberg's mother, according to Deadline. Casting is under way for several of the adult roles and the younger children roles, one of whom will be playing a character inspired by the young Spielberg, though he will not be named Steven. This project will also mark the first time in 20 years - since 's A. Spielberg is co-writing the script with frequent collaborator Tony Kushner, who wrote the scripts for Munich, Lincoln and his upcoming West Side Story remake. Production is expected to begin this summer, with Spielberg producing alongside Kushner and Kristie Macosko Krieger. The filmmaker was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, though his family moved to Phoenix when he was just 11 years old, and a year before he made his first home movie. And the presenter, here, ensured she was back on the airwaves after discussing the forthcoming documentary at sociopatu during a guest appearance on Good Morning Britain. Making her way out of London's Global studios following her latest mid-morning shift on Smooth radio, Kate cheerfully acknowledged fans as she climbed into a waiting car.
