Biden supported his statement by suggesting that the government should not forgive student loans for Ivy League alumni. His words led to a scathing editorial published by the Harvard Crimson that expressed that a very small percentage of Ivy League students receive federal loans to begin with, the ivy league matchmaking debt crisis is specifically a burden on the shoulders of the American students who could not afford to pay an exorbitant amount of money for their education, and Ivy League universities are now source weaponized in arguments against fiscally progressive policies.
The arguments outlined by the Crimson editorial board point out truths that seem to be forgotten by all, including the leader of the free world.

When Biden listed Harvard University, Yale University, and the University of Pennsylvania—and, implicitly, the rest of the Ivy League, including Columbia—as the reasons why his proposed debt cancellation ceiling is embarrassingly abysmal, he exposed the way ivy league matchmaking views the typical Ivy League student: wealthy, privileged, and, most notably, white. However, I cannot deny that I have my story reflected in other students more http://www.xgs.in/blog/japanese-filipino-dating-site/how-to-get-over-a-girl-your-friend-is-dating.php Columbia than I ever did in high school.
As much as I hear the contrary in the media and in ivy league matchmaking, there are many students who do not fit the stereotypical Ivy League image who need to be seen in full. Productive conversations regarding higher education in America will not come to fruition until everyone acknowledges this.
